Is calling yourself the Resistance the same as terrorist

If you are reading this blog you are part of the resistance.

Ok, I wanted to start this one out with some news from the health care front and a little known part of the bill in the house. I request my congressman Baron Hill to respond to this but, he has not. This is what is real and unknown to the public or those that will not read it.

Page 1,432 contains two lines that prohibit states from receiving federal health-care assistance funds if they limit attorney's fees or impose caps on damages.
This affects states that already have substantially reduced health-care costs (and attorneys' fees) by reining in out-of-control and unwarranted lawsuit awards. These two lines in H.R. 3962 guarantee that prohibitively high medical malpractice insurance will continue to drive up health-care costs and drive doctors out of medicine.

Why did the Democrats include these costly two lines? Could it have something to do with the $237 million given to Congress by trial lawyers in 2008 with 80 percent going to Democrats? Trial lawyers are the largest special-interest congressional contributors, even larger than Big Oil -- and, as we see, they got what they paid for.

Another friend posted a letter he had sent to our senator here is the link to that http://crazyuncle.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-mail-from-my-senator.html

So this is the change we can believe in. We will be able to control health care when we make sure the lawyers can get their cut.

Our Vote in this country

The next thing is a new project I am working on that could send the loudest message to our elected leaders. What if a write in could win? What if for the first time some one that did not want your money just your vote could take an election. The message would be clear that we would for the first time have some one that wanted to work for the people not the money.

Some have told me that this is crazy and that no one would do this and that is the point in which we lose. We all like it just the way it is because we hear the party message. That only leaders come from our parties and that you and I cannot think for ourselves. We have done this for sometime and we will not turn the course if we do not take the stand.

So what will we do this coming year? I will bet here in southern we will again pick a person that will be backed by the party and we will spend a great deal of money to make them the greatest this on this planet. In the end we will have the party back in power, to use our money and to tell us how we live for them. Great more of the same.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO US “YOU ARE THE RESISTANCE”

If you are reading this you are the Resistance

The question came to me this morning as I drove home from work. I was watching the sun come up in the east and had Boston’s “Piece of mind” playing thinking about why it is we want to be on top? What is it that makes us try our best to be our best and then there are some that want nothing and whine about having nothing.
I thought how great it was to be alive and how great it was to be an American. Now for some this means nothing and why do I think that. It is because of the “African-American”, “Irish-American, and “Asian –American”, and then comes me the White-American. Now I know we all have pride in where we came from and who we are but, what ever happened to I am American. When the country was “us” and we support our country.

The fight that is coming is one that will be very hard for some as they have been told by the parties that you need us. That without them we can not make it and if they do not go the DC we will fail. Well here is a news flash to some we have failed our children and grandchildren. We have allow a group of people to feel they know the will of us the common people, when all they want is power and to be able to say they are Congressman and women. That they are on top of the world and the smell on their shoe is you and me.

I was watching the Untouchables the other day and one of the actors was asked “what are you prepared to do”? So that is my question what are we prepared to do now that we have sold our country out. When we say we live by laws then we allow people to break those laws because they want what we have.
Well off to work for another 12 hours. A one hour drive then a check that shows me that last year I paid 15,000 in taxes and back to my ride home and that song by Boston all I want is my piece of mind.

WHAT IS LEADERSHIP AND WHO WILL LEAD ALL OF US IN THE FIGHT

For me I have never wanted to be a leader. I have been the person in the room that will lead if I had to but, I found getting people involved in their own outcomes works best. Today is Christmas and for me this means the birth of Christ. If this is not your thoughts are you different from me? The answer is no, because you may believe in something different or you may believe in your will to live be that as it may we all have faith in something.
For a lot of people they like to live under the radar but, not me. After TARP came out I filed a lawsuit in federal court. I was called crazy and told that it would not go anywhere but, I have made my stand many of times and paid the price. I give you my story that was written in the Louisville, Courier-Journal. This is who I am and why I fight so hard. I do not think we got here over night and it will take sometime to get us out but, it will not be done by those in office it will be done by us.

Crusader launches bid to get answers from government
DEPUTY, Ind. — From his chickens out back, Jerry Lucas gives brown eggs to neighbors and friends. Lucas advertised free puppies recently to passers-by.
For our country’s leaders, Lucas offers the legal equivalent of the bird.
He has sued them, paying $70 per month until summer to cover a filing fee he actually hoped Uncle Sam would waive. In a self-written, symbolic complaint, Lucas asks for answers, better and more trustworthy ones than he contends America has been provided. Lucas wants more confidence — some would be nice, at least — that these unimaginable sums being spent to rescue our economy will work.
Lucas said he faxed copies to the White House and to Congress, yet he seemingly realizes his lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in New Albany, will get nowhere, probably not so much as skimmed by a soul in power. It could be tossed out of court without a hearing, and Lucas might have to repay the government for its trouble. Lucas wonders, too, if he now is on some sort of enemies list for his official outrage.

“I don’t feel like a kook,” he said on an off day from his job as a registered nurse in a hospital emergency room. “I just don’t understand anymore.”
Lucas, 43, a husband of 22 years and a grandfather of three, seems always in pursuit of change he believes in. When we first met, he had begun to campaign to talk more men into nursing. He knows of 10 certain recruits, along with many others he surely helped influence. Lucas continues to put out an online magazine for male nurses and prospects.

When next we got together, Lucas had set off for better-trained emergency responders in his Jennings County. One of Lucas’ four children, Amanda McGinnis, had died a few months earlier in a car crash on Ind. 3.
The best possible personnel might have been unable to save the 19-year-old woman. Lucas urged the county nonetheless to consider as an investment the expense of paramedics — more skilled than emergency medical technicians.
Lucas took his lumps for criticism he didn’t mean personally. The county finally agreed and beefed up its ambulance crews. “I don’t care who got credit,” Lucas said — a good thing, since he received little if any. “I just needed to make sure we were covered.”

Lucas also took his nursing to New York after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, to Biloxi, Miss., after Hurricane Katrina and to Lake Charles, La., in the wake of Hurricane Rita. Lucas handed out supplies, as well, though his family’s always stretched budget took a hit. “Sometimes, people have it worse than you,” he said.
Lucas said he watches CNN one day, Fox News the next, trying for a balanced diet of news and opinion. He voted for John McCain but said Barack Obama can be quite inspiring.

Lucas is an equal opportunity finger pointer. He names the White House, Congress and the Treasury Department in a lawsuit in which, representing himself, he accuses the government of disregarding the Constitution by wasting money.
Lucas urges the court to rule the public trust has been violated. He also wants public money not given to banks until, or unless, the public good truly is served. He asks nothing just for himself, only accountability to ordinary people.
Lucas worries that a nation’s compassion is being exploited and that the economy will remain stuck until relief is in the pockets of the rank and file. “I have not asked for anything other than the truth,” Lucas said. “Sometimes you have to start a fight to win a fight.”

Lucas realizes few of us would start this fight, however skeptical we may be that unprecedented spending in Washington will uplift Southern Indiana or anywhere else. Lucas is out $350 — that filing fee — but is willing and seemingly honored to represent others similarly steamed.
“Somebody has to stand up,” he said. “If that has to be me, so be it.”

THE VOICE LESS HEARD "LONG LIVE THE FIGHTER

To all of you in the resistance, we are the voice less heard because we are not part of the polls, for some of us we support the Tea Parties but, have not been to a rally and yet we work pay taxes and try to raise our family the best we know how.

Today as I write to all of you that are part of the resistance it is Christmas Eve and around the world there are a lot of us that will rejoice in the birth of Christ. When our founding fathers brought forth this nation they found that many of the writings in the Bible gave them a good start to a nation that needed hope and guidance. Now for some there is no need for God in their life and even more say there is no God. I say to them that in this country you have that right not to believe, or to believe in something different. That fact is not enough no we must tear down the thought of Christmas as if not the birth of Christ it must be the birth of Wal-Mart.

Today in Washington our leaders got one step closer to the vote on health care and yet again the CBO came out and said they where spending the Medicaid money twice. Funny math or maybe they just forgot they spent the 450 million. Our government is the best that money can buy and man it cost a lot. Can one person really win and not ask for any money? Can a person use the internet and word of mouth and people to get votes and not your money? I think we can.

So many problems so many things to do and how you say can we fight this? The answer is us the resistances the very people that are not part of polls, or part of the change the government until we get to big then try to fit in. I do not fit in and I do not want to. I am an American one that thinks it is time for the real Americans to take out the trash and lead or country away from spending the future of this great nation. Sometimes all it takes is a little faith and the back bone to stand up and say NO!

So to all of you from my family and our believe in GOD Marry Christmas to all, health and love for this year. LONG LIVE THE FIGHTER

FIGHT THE POWER “YOU ARE THE RESISTANCE”

With great power comes an even great responsibility to those who gave you that power. In our country we have seen over time that the power we have given to others to govern over us has not been used to improve our lives. This power has been used to enrich the lives of those in power, and it has been used to weaken the very foundation of our country that would be me and you.

I asked a friend of mine what if a person would run for office using just the internet and word of mouth could they win. I mean if we took the money out of this and I was just looking for your vote what would be the chance of getting the win. The reply was that you cannot win with out money and I had no chance. This maybe true right here and now but, that is why we must now fight the power that keeps us the real people of this country from serving our country no yourselves.

Today as I write this there are 314 days until the next election and only God know what will happen. In Washington there are members of our Congress that have been bought and paid for so they would vote for a bill that most say is no good but, yet it is a good start???? what does that mean?
We as the people of this country not of the party must join together and fight not with guns or violence but, with the real power your vote. If you have read this then you are part of the resistance.

What is the need for a resistance

What is the resistance? according to the definition it is; 1. the act or power of resisting, opposing, or withstanding.

Some would say that this is what the republican party is doing right now. My take is that we the people have done the worst job as our government has been doing the samething for a very long time while we just roll over and play dead.

In the history of the world people have taken a stand to change things when they felt their way of life was threatened and they would fight to make things right.

If this health care bill was so good and it would help all of us then way did we have to buy votes? Why did we have to give some states more than what others get? Becuase our government is broke and we must now take a stand. New thoughts are need and all those in power need to go.

I have new shirts the front "Iam the resistance 2010" on the back "I am the resistance 2010 NO GUNS, NO VIOLENCE, JUST MY VOTE"

If you are here now watch the videos tell other you are no part of the resistance.
